MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

 

• ​Min age 18  years

• You own the DCS F-16C

• You should be fluent in English

• You are in possession of  your own copy of DCS World open beta with at least the following maps: NTTR, Syria, Persian Gulf & Sinai

• You require DISCORD, ZOOM & SRS to communicate with us

• Ideally you are located in or near our zone  Middle East (UTC + 4 h) time zone +/-  4 hours

• Sortie/ mission timings are agreed upon the members every fortnight rather than posting a rigid schedule. We aim to accommodate every member. Our common time window is 0400-1600 UTC, with most but not all missions being flown between 0900 - 1200 UTC, lasting around 3 hrs.

Once contact has been established, we will agree on a day & time for a discord interview. This is not a formal check but an opportunity to ask questions in order to ensure we are on the same page and have the same expectations regarding the training process.

After the interview a evaluation flight will be conducted which consists of the following:

​

• VMC departure

• Formation flying

• CCIP HALD or LALD BD *

• AAR

• Visual recovery, ILS* or TCN APCH*

* Current & experienced F-16C pilots only.

Despite those evaluation flight criteria are basic admin tasks, they may be one of the more difficult aspects to perform and those pilots being able to demonstrate these tasks typically perform well during the training.

​

Upon completion of the evaluation flight, new pilots will undergo IQT - Initial Qualification Training through either a Basic or Transition Course; depending on experience. Both have dedicated training contracts, leading to BAQ - Basic Aircraft Qualification.

 

Following BAQ, pilots will undergo MQT - Mission Qualification Training and, if successful, will be enlisted as CMR - Combat Mission Ready. MQT covers combat contracts, weapon employment (AA & AG blocks), tactics and threat avoidance.
